The summer of soccer will take a new look this year with the FIFA Club World Cup, which comes to the U.S. for the first edition of the expanded competition that will see 32 teams from around the world compete for a share of the $1 billion prize purse.

After more than a year of uncertainty and criticism, the Club World Cup kicked off in Miami, and soccer may never be the same.

The newly expanded FIFA Club World Cup will be held in 12 stadiums across the US, including Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and two locations in Orlando.

The opening game of the FIFA Club World Cup is scheduled tongiht at Hard Rock Stadium featuring Inter Miami FC and global star Lionel Messi.
