Arkansas’ Gage Wood pitched the third no-hitter in College World Series (CWS) history and the first in 65 years on Monday, striking out a record 19 and never letting Murray State come close to getting a hit in the Razorbacks’ 3-0 victory.

Gage Wood kept the Razorbacks alive with an outing against Murray State described by his pitching coach as “by far the greatest performance I’ve ever seen.”

Murray State was the biggest storyline of the NCAA tournament, but their Cinderella run came to end thanks to a legendary no-hitter from the Hogs.
