Running back James Cook is cashing in on his career year with the Buffalo Bills. The two sides agreed to a four-year, $48 million extension, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal includes $30 million guaranteed.

The deal carries an average annual value (AAV) of $12 million, tying him with Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs as the sixth highest-paid running back, according to OverTheCap. His $30 million in guarantees is third-most of all running backs behind only Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley and Las Vegas Raiders rookie Ashton Jeanty.
