Alicia Silverstone is attached to reprise the role of Cher Horowitz in a "Clueless" sequel series at Peacock, Variety has learned.

The project comes from ‘Gossip Girl' creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage and Jordan Weiss.

Cher was Silverstone’s breakout film role. Not only did “Clueless” endear audiences to the privileged Beverly Hills teen who was really trying to do good despite her cluelessness, it also popularized some choice movie slang and exclamations. (“Whatever!” “As if!” “You’re a virgin who can’t drive!“)
