An Olivehurst teen was killed in a crash on Highway 70 in Yuba County Saturday, the California Highway Patrol said.
It is unclear what caused the crash but police said it was fatal. Part of Highway 70 in Yuba County was closed after a fatal crash on March 29, 2025.
The 14-year-old who died in the Highway 70 crash Saturday has been identified as Emirt Rivera Barrera, 14, of Olivehurst, according to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office.
