A shift in Tropical Depression 19's track has significantly impacted meteorologists' predictions about its potential to form into Hurricane Sara.

If the pressure moves away quickly enough and its trailing cold front follows suit, we will see a stronger Hurricane Sara that will have a greater impact on Florida, according to AccuWeather. Steering breezes could guide the system toward the Florida Keys and the southern part of the Florida Peninsula.

A storm system, which would earn the name “Sara,” is expected to form soon in the Caribbean, and could affect the United States down the road. It’s too early to know exactly where the storm will go once it forms and what areas will be affected — particularly because the system has no established center of circulation yet.
