It’s Kia EV Day, and all those who celebrate are excited, confused, and arguing. The brand held an event in Tarragona, Spain, last week to unveil a series of new electric vehicles, only one of which is certain to come to the U.S. Thankfully, it’s the most interesting one.

Kia is launching a new EV4 sedan and hatchback with promising range figures for an affordable electric car. The vehicle was announced at Kia’s 2025 EV day event in Spain today, where the company also revealed an urban-focused EV2 small electric SUV concept and the PV5 electric passenger and cargo van.

Kia plans to build 140,000 EV4s annually, with 50,000 slated for the U.S. The EV4 is expected to start at €37,000 ($38,841) including VAT, but prices for the American market have yet to be announced. The sedan will go on sale in Korea in March while the Europe-exclusive hatchback will follow in the second half of the year.

The new Kia EV4 was recently unveiled at the 2025 Kia EV Day in Spain. The South Korean car maker is aiming to redefine the C-segment and has made the car available in sedan and hatchback guises, bringing a unique approach to electric mobility.
