One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting at Saturday's "No Kings" protest.

Organizers are accusing the president of putting on the parade as a show of dominance. The protests were peaceful, but came against the backdrop of assassinations in Minnesota.

Police in Los Angeles, where protests over federal immigration enforcement raids erupted a week earlier and sparked demonstrations across the country, used tear gas and crowd-control munitions to clear out protesters on Saturday.
