During a partial solar eclipse, the moon passes between the sun and Earth. The moon casts a shadow on Earth and only partly blocks the sun, making it appear like a crescent. Unlike a total solar eclipse, there’s no totality so experts say proper eye protection must be worn the whole time.

On Saturday, March 29, a solar eclipse will darken the skies. Unlike the “Great American Eclipse” of 2024, though, this will not be a total eclipse; instead, a partial eclipse will be visible in the early morning hours in parts of the northern hemisphere.

Scientists say Saturday’s solar event will be most visible in the northeastern United States, Greenland and eastern Canada, as well as parts of Europe, Asia and Africa.

FKA Twigs has apologized to fans and blamed members of her production team after canceling her North American tour dates at the last minute due to visa issues.

The Eusexua tour started off on rocky footing after Twigs canceled the opening two shows in Prague and Berlin based on “shipping issues.” She is next scheduled to perform in Mexico City on Apr. 6, and will resume the U.S. portion of the tour during both weekends of Coachella starting on April 11.
