Coming off a disastrous 2024-25 season, the Philadelphia 76ers' offseason approach will attempt to meld a quick turnaround while keeping a focus on their long-term future.

One player linked to Philly has been Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant. NBA analyst Kevin O'Connor proposed a trade idea on his show, "The Kevin O'Connor Show," that would lead the 76ers to land the two-time champion. The trade proposal will also allow the organization to dump George and his four-year, $212 million maximum contract.

Rumors suggest the Philadelphia 76ers are honing in on a "prime candidate" with two possibilities playing out in the NBA Draft.
