Texas Democrats who left the state to block a redistricting vote received a bomb threat at their Illinois hotel, according to two sources familiar with the matter. The lawmakers evacuated the building but weren’t harmed.

More than 50 Texas House Democrats left the state Sunday to prevent a quorum in the state House of Representatives to move forward on a bill that would set new congressional districts​.
