A deputy with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department and a State Highway Patrol trooper spotted the Honda and began chasing it, police say. The suspect reportedly fired several more rounds at officers from his vehicle during the pursuit. Officers did not return fire, police say.

The man who allegedly shot a police officer during a barricade situation in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, is now dead, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said Monday.
