Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Tuesday with President Donald Trump at the White House amid phase two of a fragile cease-fire pact, as Trump called for the United States to take control of the Gaza strip.

The two leaders are expected to focus on the tenuous ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, rebuilding and relocating Palestinians in Gaza and normalizing relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.
