After the Los Angeles Lakers were knocked out of the first round of the NBA playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games, LeBron James was asked how much longer he will play in the league. He said he doesn't know and that he would have to discuss the matter with his family.

James carries this injury into an offseason filled with decisions. One of them being whether he wants to return for a 23rd season. During the recent episode of his "Mind The Game" podcast, James admitted he has not spoken to his family yet about his looming retirement decision.
