The Minnesota Twins placed third baseman Royce Lewis on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain Saturday.

The Twins were swept this weekend on the road against the Houston Astros losing on Friday in blowout fashion yet again 10-3, losing Saturday on a walk off 3-2, and losing Sunday in extra innings 2-1. The Twins have been in a slump to say the least, going 2-8 in their last 10 games, while being outscored 77-29 in that span.

With two men on and a 2-2 count, Buxton was offered a 90-mph slider by Texas Rangers starter Jack Leiter on the outside edge of the plate. Buxton turned on it and launched the ball deep over the left-centerfield wall. Broadcast cameras lost track of it as it landed in the stands high above the outfield bullpen.
