Stephen Curry has been cleared for shooting drills and light on-court workouts despite a strained left hamstring.

As the Golden State Warriors prepare for a must-win Game 5 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the team said that superstar Stephen Curry could be available for a potential Game 6 if they win Wednesday night.

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Greek Freak has "been known to be a dream target of the Warriors for a long time," and this offseason could be their only realistic window to land him.

The obvious needle-mover is Kevin Durant, who the Warriors nearly landed at the deadline. Milwaukee Bucks superstar, multi-time MVP and NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo might just be available, too. Sam Amick of The Athletic recently noted that Antetokounmpo and Curry could have some ties, too.

The NBA’s competitive landscape hung in the balance during a potential lottery apocalypse on Monday night. The Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs found themselves as the last two teams standing for the rights to Cooper Flagg on the TV broadcast.

The Golden State Warriors are down 1-3 in the second round against the Minnesota Timberwolves, and with a "superman" Stephen Curry return having been taken off the table for Game 5, the Warriors will need Jimmy Butler to shoulder the team on both ends of the floor.
