Out of nowhere, Netflix has confirmed Virgin River season 8 is happening, and while we’ve not seen season 7 yet, the show’s renewal suggests one key cliffhanger might now be fake.

Netflix has officially renewed the hit romantic drama for Season 8, well ahead of the premiere of Season 7. Season 8 will consist of 10 new episodes, making Virgin River Netflix’s longest-running live-action scripted series so far at a whopping 84 episodes.

In addition to Breckenridge, Henderson, and Lawrence, the Virgin River cast also includes Jenny Cooper as Joey Barnes, Lauren Hammersley as Charmaine Roberts, Annette O'Toole as Hope McCrea, Tim Matheson as Vernon "Doc" Mullins, and more.
