Shey Peddy joined the Caitlin Clark supporting cast on Tuesday. The Indiana Fever signed the veteran guard after Sophie Cunningham suffered a season-ending MCL injury.

Peddy, a six-year WNBA veteran, most recently appeared with the Los Angeles Sparks, averaging 5.0 points and 2.7 assists over six games on a hardship contract. Prior to her time in Los Angeles, Peddy split her career between the Phoenix Mercury and Washington Mystics, starting her WNBA career in 2019.

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham left Sunday’s win over the Connecticut Sun early in the second quarter after suffering an apparent knee injury, never to return. After going through an MRI, the Fever announced on Tuesday that the former Phoenix Mercury guard has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
