Three people were killed after a shooting at a Target store in Austin, Texas, law enforcement officials said. Authorities responded to threats of a shooting just before 3 p.m.on Monday afternoon after reports of an incident in the area. The shooting took place at 8601 Research Boulevard in North Austin.

Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis said during a news conference that the suspect fled the scene after the shooting, stole then wrecked a car, and hijacked another.
