A winter storm is expected to hit Michigan Wednesday and with it, between four to six inches of snow is expected to fall in some parts of the state. The storm should begin over western and southwestern Lower Michigan this afternoon and cross the state throughout the evening.

On Wednesday at 3:19 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch valid from Thursday 7 p.m. until Friday 10 p.m. for Oneida and Madison counties.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for southeast Wisconsin from 12 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 to 3 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13.
