With increasingly hot weather and topographical features that resemble those in parts of Southern California, the booming Texas metropolis ranks fifth among U.S. cities threatened by wildfire.

Los Angeles battles wildfires as recovery begins and Austin braces for similar threats, with arrests made for intentionally set fires.

Thousands of homes in Austin have an elevated risk of wildfire, but residents can prepare. A total of 94,673 homes in Austin have a moderate or greater wildfire risk, making it the highest-risk city outside of California,

Firefighters were sent from Austin, Hutto, Kyle, Round Rock and other cities. They're expected to stay for about 21 days.

ICE said it made 956 arrests on Sunday across Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, Austin, Texas and Adams County, Colorado.
