Cantelmo goes on to explain that, apparently, Anitta wanted someone who knew her from before she was a famous pop star, to capture the duality of her on-stage persona, Anitta, and her off-stage persona, Larissa. Cantelmo and Anitta are both from the same working-class neighborhood of Honório Gurgel in Rio de Janeiro, and knew each other growing up.

Anitta was last spotted with Brazilian soccer player Vinicius Souza in September 2024 at Paris Fashion Week. She appears to be single now.
