The injury status for Jrue Holiday has been revealed for the Boston Celtics game against the New York Knicks on Saturday.

Holiday is listed as out on the Celtics injury report with right shoulder impingement. He was originally questionable ahead of the Mavericks loss Thursday before being downgraded to out. This time, he’s listed as out to start as opposed to a questionable designation.

Holiday was sidelined with the same injury in late December but had not shown new signs of discomfort until today. In fact, his consistent playing time indicated he was fully recovered. However, his recent performances have been well below his All-Star standards, averaging just 6.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists over the past five games.
