The devastating loss to the Packers in the 2023 playoffs cut short what could have been a much better ending to the story of those Cowboys.

Netflix’s newest sports documentary, “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys,” will debut Aug. 19, and the streaming giant held a premiere for the show Monday at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. The event was attended by Jerry Jones, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and others associated with the Dallas Cowboys.

Turns out, there are things that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones does not tell the media. And this was a big thing. The 82-year-old revealed to the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday that he survived Stage 4 melanoma, thanks to an experimental trial at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
