An Air India plane bound for London Gatwick airport crashed shortly after take-off on June 12 in Ahmedabad, western India.

The London-bound Boeing 787 struck a medical college hostel in a residential area of the northwestern city of Ahmedabad.

The death toll in the Air India crash has risen to at 270 after recovery teams found at least 25 more bodies in the debris.
