Billions of dollars are being spent across the state to take care of an issue many believe is long overdue: adding more lanes to crowded interstates.

GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A pickup led officers on a two-speed chase late Thursday morning before it ended near Grovetown.

No one was injured Tuesday morning when a bus carrying about 10 U.S. Border Patrol prisoners caught fire on northbound Interstate 19 near the former Green Valley hospital.

The driver was ejected from the golf cart in the wreck and died at the scene, according to the coroner’s office.
