LSU football's 2026 recruiting class lost a four-star receiver, but the Tigers' class is still among the best in the country.

LSU now has one game on the schedule in 2028. In 2029, it has non-conference games set against SMU, Arizona State, Rice and McNeese State. The Tigers are scheduled to host Arizona State that year in the first part of another home-and-home series.

SMU, in conjunction with LSU, announced a home-and-home series on Monday set to take place during the 2028 and 2029 seasons. The games mark the first time the two teams will face each other in nearly a century, with the last meeting coming in 1934. Overall, SMU holds a 1-0-1 lead in the all-time series.
