Seven people were arrested in a warrant round-up operation Thursday, February 22, according to Lynchburg Police Department.

On March 3, the Lynchburg Police Department announced the arrest of several drug and violent crime offenders during a coordinated law enforcement on February 27. LPD said that on Thursday, a joint operation with the Virginia State Police and the Central Virginia Drug and Gang Task Force resulted in the arrest

Police say that a warrant roundup led to several arrests in Lynchburg. On Feb. 27, the Lynchburg Police Department, the Virginia State Police and Central Virginia Drug and Gang Task Force, conducted a warrant round-up targeting wanted criminals in an ongoing effort to address violent crime in the area.
