Golden State has officially traded Dennis Schröder to the Detroit Pistons, who also received Lindy Waters III and a second-round pick from the Warriors. The Pistons announced the move as “part of a series of transactions,” part of the mega-trade that saw Jimmy Butler dealt from Miami to Golden State.

At the trade deadline, the Detroit Pistons have used their open cap space to help get deals done in return for compensation. They were recently part of the NBA's latest blockbuster, and acquired a player who could help them compete this season.
