A baseball fan stormed the field at Daikin Park and interrupted a game between the Houston Astros and Baltimore Orioles on Sunday afternoon.
The start time for the Orioles’ game against the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday was delayed by inclement weather.
Ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Boston Red Sox, Rutschman was removed from the lineup due to right abdominal discomfort. “Adley Rutschman has been scratched with right abdominal discomfort, the Orioles say. Updated lineup for tonight’s game against the Red Sox,” wrote The Baltimore Sun’s Matt Weyrich.
The Orioles led 1-0 when Javier left the game, plating their only run on a sacrifice fly by Gunnar Henderson in the third. Right-hander Shawn Dubin replaced him and proceeded to give up four earned runs in the fifth, including a three-run homer by Jordan Westburg that put Baltimore up 5-0.
The Orioles’ game Thursday afternoon against the Seattle Mariners included a more than two-hour rain delay in the sixth inning.
